The song 'Daisy Bell' was popularized in analog horror and horror centered videos media on TikTok and YouTube around 2020-2023. In 2025 it was popularized again by Jax and Pomni singing it in episode 6 of 'The Amazing Digital Circus' and covered by Alex Rochon (Caine's voice actor). The song is also referred to as 'A bicycle for two'. It's a love song between a man and his newly wedded wife; though he may be poor, he still wants a nice wedding. It is a romance not a creepy horror soundtrack though hearing such a sweet song in that context can be truly haunting.
The song was the first song sung by a computer in 1961 but was written by Harry Dacre in the year of 1892. The idea of writing it came from Harry bringing a bicycle overseas to America and getting charged for having it. His friend, William Jerome, remarked that it's good he didn't bring a bicycle for two as he'd be charged double! And that is the whole reason the song was written. Katie Lawrence was first to perform the song in London and Jennie Lindsey preformed it in America.
Many different covers of the song exist. Personally, my favourite is Clinton Ford's version of the song which came out in 1969.
